Valhall Via Ferrata is a short, spectacular, and airy climbing route starting directly from Lothepus Camping. The route is approximately 120 metres long and climbs 70 vertical metres, followed by a return walk on a trail of about 500 metres.
This is a family-friendly Via Ferrata suitable for everyone from 7 years and up. Because of its shorter length, it is also a great introduction for beginners who want to try Via Ferrata for the first time. No previous climbing experience is required on guided tours, although some sections may still feel challenging and exposed.
Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the fjord, the surrounding mountains, and the unique stave church at Lothepus Camping below you. The combination of achievement, excitement, and beautiful scenery makes this a memorable adventure for both families and first-time climbers.
You can choose to join a guided tour or climb independently. On guided tours, the guide, climbing harness, and helmet are included. It is also possible to rent equipment from us if you want to go without a guide, but this requires previous knowledge and experience. Please note that the Via Ferrata is closed for short periods during guided tours.
