Thomas (40) from Haugesund, on the west coast of Norway. He now lives in Oslo. Thomas loves his canoe, fly-fishing and long hikes. In 2008 he spent 30 days alone in Hardangervidda National Park and knows this area better than most. He´s done famous hikes all over the world: El Choro-trek in Bolivia, Machu Picchu in Peru, different trails on Colorado, travelled in Africa, Australia, New Zealand to name a few.


Stian (41) works as a teacher in Ålesund. His family has a cabin mountainside not far from the route we follow. Born and raised in Haugesund.

He´s walked these mountains since he was a little boy. Stian is a people person, but also loves the quiet moments nature provides and the feeling of having a mountain trout on the end of the line.



Kenneth (28) grew up on the West Coast of Norway, where he fostered his love for the outdoors. Born and raised in Haugesund, close to the mountains, he has come to know and cherish the wild nature. His first passion is skiing and hiking. His sincere enthusiasm in exploring the nature and the outdoors is contagious. Kenneth loves everything about the outdoors: Hiking, fishing, climbing, canoing, running. 

Kenneth holds a Master of Science in Geology Science from the University of Oslo. He´s always eager to learn about and teach others of the geology of new places.



22 year old. At the moment a student in Trondheim. Grew up in the Sunnnmøre mountains, and had his first hike before he could walk. While growing up he’s found more and more joy of the mountains both summer and winter season. The joy of hiking in the mountains has grown on him together with the respect of the mountains. Security & safety is important to Elias. His experience is that every hike provides something special that is worth to remember.



Marius (33) grew up in Bergen, the city between the seven mountains. His father being a marathon runner and avid mountaineer naturally brought him along biking, running and hiking from an early age. His family has a lake-house by the fjord in Hauso, some 40 minutes from Trolltunga, where his ancestors all lived. It was during the time he spent here each summer his love for hiking in Hardanger was born.

Marius holds a Bachelor of History from the University of Bergen and is currently finishing his degree in education and Master of History.



Peter (28) grew up in the Northern part of Norway, where his genuine passion for outdoor-activities began. At the age of 15, Peter and his family moved to Hardanger, and he immediately felt in love with the unique West Coast-nature and biodiversity. Peter cherish different aspects of the outdoor life; quiet moments with a crackling campfire, but also more adrenalin-activities as skiing, kayaking and running, that allows him to experience the “flow-feeling”.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Ecology and Nature Management, and a Master of Nature-based Tourism from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.Peter convinced that sustainable use of nature can create an understanding of why we need to take care of it.



Thor (35) from Haugesund is the one carry the heavy backpacks. Always there to kindly help out if anyone needs an extra hand. His patience and kindness is a value we deeply appreciate in our guide group.

He has also worked as a tour leader for the Norwegian Tourist Association. 



Kim (43) grew up in Norheimsund in Hardanger, but lives in Bergen now. He likes to carry the heavy backpacks we need to make the treks as comfortable as possible for our guests. A calm, patient and trustful person with a twinkle in the eye.

He loves to go hiking in the mountains of Bergen, so ask him for hiking advice if you plan to do the same. He has a big passion for music and concerts.



Christine is 36 years young, lives in Bergen and works as a teacher. She likes to spend time with her friends, travelling and concerts. Always happy, always ready to go!   



Tobias is 36 years old and lives with his family in Bergen. He is the guy who carries the most weight, and do so with a smile. When he´s not guiding people along the Trolltunga Trek, he spends his time mountain climbing. 



Billy is a 2 1/2 year old Danish Swedish farmdog. The breed was used, mostly in Southern Sweden and Denmark, to keep mice/rats and thiefs away from the farms. He has done most of his trekking so far in the East parts of Norway and France. Billy is easy-going, loves the outdoors and really hates rain. He joined 3-4 treks in the 2017 season and from 2018 be a full member of the Trolltunga Adventures guide team.
