Long March

Will only be arranged on request. Minimum 3 participants.

This trek takes you away from the main trail right from the start. We walk on the opposite side of the picturesque valley in Skjeggedal, moving towards the mountains and solitude. We meet up early at the Skjeggedal parking lot. For the first two hours, we walk uphill and enjoy the first break as we reach a small and cosy cabin. We are now officially in the mountains!

The first day we try to walk with a low pace, with short pit-stops to drink and have a snack.

The main goal on day 1 is to reach our camp situated 700 meters from Trolltunga. Hopefully (and most likely) we'll get there early enough for the sunset.

We want to be clear, this is a tough trek and challenging trek in the unpredictable Norwegian mountains! You need to be fit and have some trekking experience to join. Be prepared to walk for most of the day. We cover around 24,5 km the first day, and we start at 480 meters above sea level, up to 1400 before we move down again to camp at about 1200 meters.

We have an exclusive campsite here, a bit away from the crowd. At night we'll make a bonfire and enjoy the magnificent weather and solitude.

Next morning you'll wake to breakfast and coffee/tea before we break camp and have our last visit at Trolltunga. This day is the easiest: from Trolltunga, it's about 12 km back to civilization. We will be down between 2-3pm.

We'll provide all the equipment. Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, food, coffee/tea. All you need is a backpack, warm clothes and some snacks for the second day.

Will only be arranged on request. Minimum 3 participants.

5500,- NOK per person

Wilderness Feeling

Trolltunga classic

We are really proud of our reviews on Tripadvisor. Thanks to all of you who joined one of our hikes and took time to give us feedback.

Our main goal is that everybody gets an extraordinary experience, which you will never forget by introducing you to the Norwegian mountains. Whether it is the reindeer stew, catching of a mountain trout, the swim in 5 °C cold pond, or watching the sun set behind the glacier - we always make sure that everyone has a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

My daughter and I (aged 30 and 55) joined the ‘Long March’, and had a fantastic time from start to finish. It’s a hard trek in stunning but serious mountain landscapes so I would recommend training beforehand so that you can fully enjoy the experience.
The experience was so much more than just Trolltunga, and far removed from the tourist day trip that we glimpsed a little of on the way down
