Langfoss is among the tallest waterfalls in Europe, veiling a total of 600 meters as it slides violently into the calm waters of the Åkrafjord. Langfoss is the 5th largest waterfall in Norway and has several times been voted as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.
The mountains in this area are much less crowded compared to the area around Trolltunga and are mainly visited by locals. You’ll have a blast up here. We want to introduce you this beautiful part of Norway, and show you why we love these mountains. It’s not an overly challenging hike, though still challenging enough for most folks. We camp along the river where we serve some local specialities. Also, if you like fishing, bring a rod! Because you’ll find the mountain trout biting both in the river close to our camp and in the lake further up.
